Prologue
The Amnesty video
Every story has a prologue. Mine was shot in high school.
The setup
Long before the briefs, the agencies and the call sheets, there was a school project: a video for Amnesty International.
The plot
I didn’t know what a call sheet was yet. I just had a cause worth talking about and a camera.
The moral
Some people find film later in life. I apparently found it in high school, then took a long scenic route through advertising to get back to it.
